Since i'm not very busy right now, i decided to take a look at my brakes and see why they are going to the floor on the 1st pump, than grabbing after that. At my local mechanics shop, he was nice enough to let me have a stall. We jack standed her, pulled the wheels & drums. The drums themselves look great. No gouges that i can see, even wear across the drums... even though it has only 49,000 miles, i was not sure what to expect.

For the most part, all the assembly looks great except for the passanger front, which is leaking from the wheel cylinder.

were the shoes adjusted properly? the symptoms you describe indicate the shoes weren't adjusted

did you notice the small crack in the drum by 1 of the stud holes?

We didn't see any cracks anywhere but the 1st thing my mechanic said was he didn't think they were adjusted properly. I'm going to pull the one leaking wheel cylinder and order a kit/new one, bleed the whole thing and then try and adjust them.

I have a kinda a gash in one of the pads on the rear axle. Do you think this will affect braking at all or should i just run it?
