Hey there!

I recently purchased a 2016 and she's a beaut! Only issue I really found was that the hitch cover was MIA - of which they agreed to mail me a replacement. No biggie

Well the shipment just arrived, and it's 51776-60050. 5177660050 - Bumper Cover Spacer Panel (Rear). Body, Interior, STAY, Components - Genuine Toyota Part - https://parts.toyota.com/p/66807466/5177660050.html

I've already got that installed on the truck; this is what the cover snaps onto. I was expecting the body-colored "bump" that covers the hitch from view.

Before I go back to the dealer to get the correct part, is the one I should be asking for 62169-60190-C0? 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser Cover, rear bumper, lower. Black - 5216960190C0 - Genuine Toyota Part - https://parts.toyota.com/p/Toyota_2016_Land-Cruiser-57L-AT-4WD/COVER---REAR-BUMPER---LOWER-BLACK/66807850/5216960190C0.html

I have a Midnight Black Metallic exterior; does that part number look right?

Thanks!
Tyler

I think you need the “C1” version for the 218 color code. The “C0” is for the 202 non-metallic black used until 2016. You can verify your exterior color code by looking at the door VIN plate. It is the first number following the “C/TR:” marking. 🍻

Yep, 218 here! Knowing my paint and only seeing “black” in the description is exactly why I asked. Thank you!!

Also funny to see your url - I think I like “Attitude Black” better

Toyota paint code 218 goes by both “attitude black” and “midnight black” - it has a lot of large metal flake and can appear blue in some lighting. Paint code 202 is the regular black with no discernible metal flake (at least to my eye). I’ve had three 202 Tundras, and they are more of the classic black. My current land cruiser is the 218, and it is definitely different. I wouldn’t mix and match in your application, it might really stand out.

Agree, definitely do not mix those. My wife has lexus with 202 and I have LC with 218. They are definitely different with flakes on LC making it more pop. Touched up a place under rear tail light after a removal scratch and definitely you can see a difference.

Nice that they sell this pre painted. Any chance there is a way to get a gas fill cover prepainted? I only see one part #

So is it possible to order one in onyx blue? Mine has a broken tab and I hate it!

Just recently got a hitch cover for my 2016 Attitude Black - 218 (metal flake with the right light). Part 52169-60190-C1. It comes with the thumb plug to keep it secured.
Would not normally care about seeing the hitch but it just looks bad the way they designed it into the bumper.

Hello guys, can anyone confirm if this part comes pre-painted? I have a 218 Midnight Black Metallic color. The part number I am looking at is 5216960190C1. Thanks!

They do come pre-painted. I’ve hard to order a couple I’ve the years.

Your part number looks correct for 2016+ The C0 is for the 202 black (non-metallic) I do believe. 🍻
