I heard the story many, many years ago. Not sure if I got it right, or if I should repeat it prematurely.

What have you heard?

Mark, I'm pretty sure the owner of Downey knows exactly who did the logo, some of his early catalogs had drawings of other model Land Cruisers from the same artist.

Mark I think Marlin knows about the original art and who created. When Matt redid the original art for the 30th anniversary shirts Marlin saw it on my hood. Then he saw the shirts and he got real excited. He started telling me all about the old days. And I know he wasn't there for the start but I think he knows who the artist was. I think it started as one of the chapters logo and then they added the chapter below it. Sort of like LA County has for their logo. Tony might know too.

but I think Mark is looking for a bit more detailed info on the artwork itself.
