So ironically enough I was 2 blocks from my house when the T-Belt light came on, on my dash. I was on the way home to change it in fact, just finished picking up the last of the parts needed to do the job.

Question is....

Once I install the new belt will the light go off on its own? Or do I have to reset something? As far as I know there is no computer.

It is an 1989 Hilux 4DR pickup 3L diesel for your information.

Thanks!

there should be a pinhole near the speedo in the dash where you put something thin in and press the reset button.

Thanks!

Now if I had only not missed putting the fricken timing belt in so it was off one cog on one of the pullys so it would run right.

I messed something up and now it won't stay running, sounds like a big rig, and smokes like a bastard. I must have moved something when changing the belt...

Oh well back at it again tomorrow tearing it apart again... :flipoff2:

Thanks for the warning light info though, I was wondering what that micro button was for.
