High mount brake light LED (1 Viewer)

Where do you guys get the high mount LED brake light? Mine just got burnt out. The OEM light is some $340 just for the LED alone.

local junk yard price for LC 60buks, and for the LX 80- 100 buks which to me both are the samething.

Anyone did some aftermarket retrofit for that high mount stop lamp with LED??

If they all went out at the same time, check the diodes for failure, wiring, etc. first. Unlikely all LED's would go at the same time

WOW! Thanks, Looks like a good fix, I will tear the light assembly apart to change the resistors...practising my soldering technique...

I used a Hella LED unit as my truck had nothing from factory, ordered from Daniel Stern lighting. It was about $63.

This board is great! I can't believe it. A 79c diode from Radio Shack saved me $350 from the stealer. My high mount LED brake lamp is alive again.
