I am considering getting rid of my 80-series LC and jumping into a Sequoia. I like the V8 and the interior...

I have an chance to get into a 2005 with 99k on it.

Anything i should look for?

This is a 2wd, which I am not sure if I want, not that I use the 4wd, almost never, just like the option.

Anyone have a 2005?

Any issues?

thanks,

Vinny

Tundra solutions forum has a big section on Sequoia. I would hope that with less than 100k, its just nicely run in!

They had a recall on front ball joints if it was made in a certain assembly plant.
That V8 has a timing belt and is an interference engine, so you absolutely want to have documented proof when that belt was changed and maybe inspect it anyhow unless you feel real confident it was changed and when.
I sure don't get the published mileage that Toyota claims the 4.7 is supposed to get.
that's the only things I know about:cheers:

The 05 has the hp bump which is good, but I'd go a year older and get the 4wd. I miss my 80 for sure, but the sequoia is far more practical and comfortable.
