High Beams

Hello there,

I have a 2001 troopie with a 4.2 diesel.

I have noticed that the high beam doesnt work in the on position, (flicked away from me) only in the dip position (pulled towards me)

Is there a seperate relay or something for this thing? I know nothing of electics so it has to be a simple description.

I am about to pull the moulding off the steering to have a look there.

Well, I pulled the trim off and had a look. Cant see anything there. Might have to get hold of a indicator set and try it out to see if the old one has died.

Maybe both the high beams are burnt out?

Nah, they work when I pull the handle back, you know, flashing position

I'm definately no expert, but I would think the problem would be in the handle. Especially if you could flash the high beams.
