A couple of guys I know are going to hidden falls next sunday 6/20 and since I just ordered my spring I figure I'll go hit some trails. I'd love to get back out with some of you!

I'd like too, but unfortunately as it is Father's Day weekend, my family has a few things planned for me this weekend or else I would go. I haven't been 'wheeling since Katemcey. Gettin' kinda antsy to do something. However, on another note, my other 40 is finally starting to go together, so hopefully in another couple of months, I'll be 'wheeling it instead of my red one.

Yeah I totally forgot it was fathers day (just another day to my dad.)

I'm going to start to pull the engine out of my 80. More to come later. :) I need a wheeling fix though. Y'all have fun.

Jeff did you decide what you gonna put in there yet? That ls2 looks dreamy...

5.3/4l70. I'm getting the parts list together. It's not an easy FJ40 swap.

Very cool! I have had dreams lately of a 3rd gen sbc in my cruiser, i know its bad. Maybe next time Im in austin I can check out the progress next time in Austin if its cool?

I'm looking for some info on Hidden Falls. I was born and raised in Marble Falls and never knew this place existed. I have been living in WA for the past 8 years and really enjoy the offroading adventures that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Just wondering what you guys think about Hidden Falls as far as offroading goes. I came home in May and purchased my first LC, thanks again dixie_cragger, and when I come down to drive it back to WA, I was thinking of making a day trip out to Hidden Falls. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

If you are from marble falls then I'm sure you've spent some time in hill country brush. Thats all it is, rocks, creeks and tons of cedar trees. Its a nice place because its so convenient but after multiple visits you can run the whole park in a day.

Yes, a lot of time spent in the Hill Country. It will work out perfectly, considering I will only have about a day to enjoy it. Thanks for the info.
