Hi all, am a newbie to this forum and to Landcruisers in general. Just bought myself a 1997 80 series with the 1HD-FT engine. Only to discover a problem with the starter motor soon after buying it. Wanted to know if anyone could point me to any sites where they have decent prices for the starter and other spares that I may need..please let me know..thanks in advance

I'm not sure if you have the same type of starter as the 1FZ-FE but it would be worth giving this a read:

For US parts cruiserdan at American Toyota is usually the way to go.

I'm guessing you're outside the states since you have a 1HD. If no one in the 80 section is able to suggest anything you might try the diesel section.
