If you don't find someone to trade you just order the bar. You can then change it out to make yours shorter. Hi-Lift Jack Company B48C Jack Replacement Parts, 48 in. Steel Bar, Red, Each | eBay I seem to remember seeing some somewhere with free shipping.

Or alternatively you could just stop at a welding shop and have them chop the end off for you. They'd probably charge you like $5-10.
