HG question

Yes I have used the search but it was not clear. Does the replacement HG completely fix the issue? Or is this still an issue that cannot be helped? And does it effect all 93-97s?

There haven't been any reported failures of the new style HG but there haven't been too many in service for a 100k miles either. The HG was obviously redesigned for improvement. The short answer to your first question is no one knows for certain but everyone is betting it will result in a "normal" HG lifespan.

Yes, it affects all 93-97. For awhile there was a feeling that it might only be the later years but I think most will agree that belief has been diminished.
