As an FYI, there is a '99 TLC w/ rear locker at a dealer in Mesa that I drove the other day. Has 150k but is a very nice truck for the year and miles!

I also drove the blue '03 that is currently listed on Craigslist. It looks better in pics but was very solid, no obvious leaks, etc. Just needs a good interior detail. His asking price is on par w/ the market right now but a bit too high for my liking.

I offered $19,500 before looking at it but he didn't bite. He countered for $21,500. That's more than I am looking to spend.

He said it had the rear airbags, I forgot to check. His ad mentions a DVD player but there is no overhead unit, just the Navi screen on the dash and I'm not sure that that unit actually plays DVD's, especially while rolling.

He said the Timing Belt was done @ 75k but I think he may have meant the drive belt. I didn't see a sticker on the timing belt cover and he didn't have service records with him. The truck is originally from MO but there were no signs of rust underneath.

I was thinking the same thing about the price. Especially since the interior wasn't nearly spotless. Lots of carpet stains, etc.

The '03+ trucks seem to be a pretty rare find right about now though.
