Here's what I did.
1. disconnect small hose at firewall from PHH pipe to diverter valve. (on top of engine)
2. do not mess with up bolt near the upper part of engine on the firewall
3. loosened the lower bolt that holds the PHH pipe to the block (through wheelwell)
4. cut factory PHH clamps off
5. carefully with utility knife, (not going too deep), cut PHH hose and remove.
6. at this point, I was able the pivot the pipe enough to slide the new PHH and clamps on.
7. slide the hose and clamps slightly past the bend in the pipe
8. rotate the pipe to line back up with the block nipple and slide the clamps and hose onto the nipple.
9. tighten all clamps, bolts, and reinstall firewall hose.
All of this was done through the wheel well, with the tire removed. The key here is being able to pivot the pipe without loosening the upper clamp bolt. If you check, you'll see that the design of this "hold down" will allow you to do it.
