I have a stock 93 T100 with a 3.0 with 175 k miles. The truck is in great condition mechanically and I do regular maintenence on it, plugs, wires, fuel filter. etc. At every oil change (3k miles+/-) I add Cheveron fuel injector cleaner. The problem is worse when the engine is cold. It's not really a hesitation but a slight lack of power when excelerating. When I put it in gear and let the clutch out and start off power builds a little slow until about 2800 rpm and then it kicks in, almost like a switch. Most noticable in 1 or 2 gear. Any ideas?

Thanks guys! It sounds more like the tps but who knows. I have to look for my meter and check out the above link. The air filter is clean and the problem kinda came on slow. It wasn't something that started overnight.

This is also an indication of a failing 02 sensor in front of the cat.-especially when you mentioned it was cold. There was power reduction and then it would snap alive BUT only until the engine got up to operating temp.

My 22re did this until I replaced the 02.

Only difference is that I threw a code.
