Please join me for a trip to Hermit Pass on Saturday, 8/31. This is a very high pass and is a one-way trip in and out, as the road terminates at the pass. The altitude at the pass is 13,047 fasl.
There will be two meet up locations, as follows:
1. Coyotes Coffee Den, 675 CO-115, Penrose,CO 81240. We will depart from the back parking lot at 9:00 AM. I will arrive at 8:00 for breakfast and coffee and I hope some of you can join me.
2. Shell station, 425 S. 6th St., Westcliffe, CO 81252. Meet approximately 10:00, fuel up, and take Hermit Pass Road west from there.
Looking forward to doing this trail run with some of you. Vic.
