Help with Partsouq ordering - exterior window trim (1 Viewer)

sorry if this is a repost, i'll delete once I have the answer.

I have been having trouble with the customer service at Partsouq.
i sent them this video(link below) and explained that I have a 2009 with chrome trim and I would like BLACK.
they asked for my VIN, i sent it to them - then they replied the trim from that VIN is chrome, not BLACK. I said, I KNOW, I want black, hence why I reaching out to you. i said you can use toyota prado to find the parts, this has been going back and forth for days. now they are asking me for a VIN number of a prado or gx470 with black trim. where am i supposed to get that? why is this so hard?

can someone make this easier for me? I would like quality exterior window trim in BLACK that fits a 2009 gx470.

I gave up on Partssouq and ordered through fleaBay. They never would accept my PayPal and the cryptic email replies felt sketchy. Spent a little extra on fleaBay, had the buyer is always right assurance, and it arrived weeks sooner.

Ordered the black trim from PartSouq. The reason they said they only had chrome was your Lexus Vin. Black trim is the Toyota Prado part numbers. Just order by part number and use the thread a below this as the guide. 144 to my door for all 6 trim pieces

replace quarter rear window moulding/trim/channel replacement?

Replaced my rotting OEM chrome trim with the black Prado trim last night, front and rear doors were easy but I have absolutely no idea how to tackle these quarter window pieces. I watched @HomersCanyonero YouTube video in his build thread but still don't know where to start or how to get these...

go easy on the Partsouq guys. They usually only know how to look up by VIN un less they are enthusiasts. Anything outside of the stock requirements, they are lost. Judging by the number of car lines they service, getting a Lexus/ Toyota enthusiast would be rare. The case is, more often than not, is we know more about what we need than the rep you contact.

Funny how GX owners want black trim. As a Prado 120 owner I will be putting chrome ones on when I get around to it. FYI the black plastic always peels off the back window trim but it would take years of harsh sun)
