Need some help finding and choosing some wheels and tires for my 2008 LC 200.

I live in NH and purchased my LC Nov 2007. Driving in all the heavy snow and later mud season was not so great and as much fun as it should have been. Getting to my home even involves some nasty unpaved unmaintained road that was tricky this past year.

So before the snow flies this year I would like to get a second set of wheels and tires. Anyone have any ideas on what wheels to use, where I can get them here in NH area and tires to go along with them. Sizes? Can I use setups for the Tundra? Any help would be appreciated. I also have a Jeep Rubicon with Goodyear MT/R's that work well and another Jeep with the BFGoodrich M&S .. Would be nice to have something like this on the LC200

Nitto Terra Grapplers make a AT with the exact same dimensions as the stock LC200 tire...great for snow.

I fitted 17" TRD wheels with BFG Ats, am so happy.

All Tundra wheels fit on the LC.

x2 for the Terra Grapples......no snow here, but they work on sand very well!

Thanks much!

Looks like I can get the exact size on the rims now in the Nitto Terra Grapplers AT

Dtt255, does the spare fit underneath using the Nitto Terra Grapplers ?

I know I'm not Dtt255, but it does fit...I had those rubbers on the stock rims, and no problems getting it under there, same as stock.

You can fit up to a 33" x 12.5" in the spare wheel spot.

I have a set of slightly used Nittos like you are looking for...PM me if you are interested.

X2. Cannot say it better then that!

Great Tires!

another option are the steel 18-inch tundra wheels off of the cheapest package tundra two wheel drive. they can be found used pretty cheap and if you are just looking for cheap wheels for rough winter driving it might be a good way to go.

i also went with the trd 17-inch aluminum wheel because there are more options for 17-inch tires than 18's.

Bridgestone Dueler H/TD684 II

Hello from a constant lurker down in Victoria, TX. I know this is an older thread but it looks like the best place to post my comments. I recently purchased an 08 that came with Dueler H/Ts and had considered replacing them with something else before we headed to the slopes over the holidays, though not sure what. I've read here and there that these are not the greatest tires - tread life, poor ice/snow handling. But after our trip, I came away pretty impressed. There was plenty of snow on the ground and with the temps above 32, it slowly turned to ice, allowing my to experience a little of both. I drove daily on hilly, somewhat steep roads to get to the lifts and the cruiser never lost traction, even on the night I had to tow a buddy's 2-wheele drive jeep up to our cabin.

I'm sure there are better tires out there for heavy duty snow and ice situations, but I came away impressed and happy I didn't change...at least not yet. Tread life my be the kicker.

Just thought I'd share that with you.
