Help with Ignition switch (1 Viewer)

Has anyone had to replace their ignition switch b4. If so, any and all help would be appreciated as far as diagrams, helpful hints, etc.
Symptom: the starter just stayed engaged even after having removed the key.

It's probably not the ignition, but the starter itself that needs attention.
Do a search on starter contacts in the archives for more info.

He left the part out that says this is a possibly VERY serious problem and you need to address it right away. There have been guys on here who have ended up with fires in their engine bay because they put this somewhat quick fix off.
