Does anyone wanna come hang out and talk/work on cars this weekend? Well I have the perfect opportunity for you.

I need to do a timing belt and water pump on my 2005 GX 470 (2UZ) and was wondering if anyone would be willing to come help. If you have done this job before that would be even better as I have never done one and could use any and all guidance. Compensation can be beer and food or cash for your time.

Also, if any one has the specialty tools to do this job and would be willing to let me borrow them that would be very helpful.

So.... what do you say???

Well it’s done. Turns out I had a bad o-ring on the water pump. All better now and hopefully I don’t have to be in there for another 90k miles.

I think the next one will be even easier!
