Help! Shackles inverted during install (1 Viewer)

I am trying to install a PE Lift Kit for the first time and the extended shackles got inverted...

My question is, aside from removing the U-bolts, etc, and redo-ing it, what might be an easier way to correct this problem?

Put a pry bar into your shackle and pry it out. Hope that you didn't bend your spring already. If you can invert your shackle easily like that, I would use the anti-inversion shackles instead.

I got 2 of my shackles inverted, the results were 2 bent OME springs. It was costly and a drag...

had same problem of shackle inverting initially. I jacked the body up some and push the shackles out and lowered it watching it closely. Anti-inversion shackles are a great idea if you are worried about them. And by the way once i pushed the shackles out the first time they have not inverted one time after lots of flexing and offroading.
