Hey all,

I'm trying together access to the firewall to repair some rust holes, so I need to remove the heater blower motor. It seems like it's only attached with a few bolts, then pressure fit into the AC unit and the air plenum above. It won't budge much and I'm afraid of doing harm. Anyone ever done this and have pointers?

Thanks!

The blower motor itself should just fall down once you remove the wires/plug and I believe 3 screws. The wire harness may get in the way with the motor to prevent it to fall down/out. Patience and make sure nothing is in the way. Maybe there is some trash/dirt inside the fan blades that could also cause a jamming of the assembly.

Thanks. There is one stud at the top that it is hung up on. I was prying it off that stud but was afraid to continue and break something.
