I have read almost all the threads and looked at almost all the pics of how to do this but my pics don't seem to match. I have included pics of my 1991 FJ80 firewall and really could use some help. I was wondering if I could just disconnect the rear heater lines and cap the lines where they were disconnected. If I have missed a thread, I apologize. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

What is it that you are trying to accomplish? Is the little core for the rear heater leaking? If you are looking to bypass a leaking core, you can just disconnect the lines to and from the core and reconnect them to each other - the coolant will just return to the motor without going to the core under your armrest.

From your picture, it looks like the clamps are all OEM which means that you should upgrade all of your heater hoses before you have an issue (search for FHH and PHH replacements).
