Help needed for aftermarket LC200 grill (1 Viewer)

First post here, so forgive me if I do some things wrong.

Recently picked up a new (to me) bone stock 2013 LC. It’s been driven quite a lot and the stock grill is faded to the point that I’d like to replace it.

I’d like to get a TRD-Pro style grill that you see on every other 4Runner and Tacoma on the road, but as far as I’ve been able to find there are none available.

I know Garage Alpha Off-road (GAOR) makes these types of grills for basically every Toyota truck/SUV with the exception of the LC200. I have tried contacting them through every avenue I could find: Email, phone call, Instagram DM, facebook DM, etc. to no avail.

Does anyone know if such a grill already exists or how to get into contact with GAOR to try to convince them to make one? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Typing here to bump the thread but also to rant just a bit. I still have absolutely no response from GAOR from any avenues at all, it seems as though they are not interested in selling any of their products. I have also been reading some horror stories about them, so I might just stay away.

I have contacted another company, TEQ customs, so I guess I will see if they are a bit more forthcoming and will at least just tell me if they are not willing to do it.

Also, a side note, it is insane to me how there are Bentley style chromed out grills for the LC200 available but not a single TRD style grill has been created. I honestly cannot believe anyone would buy such a product, but to each their own I suppose.

Does anybody know of any company that would be willing to create the type of product I described above at at least a half-decent level of quality? I do not have the time, nor the know-how, to create such a thing myself and I have to believe there are at least a few other people out there who would want to buy such a product.

TEQ doesnt produce they're own, they're just rebrands for the grilles they carry. Molds are insanely expensive (very easily 30k+) and it's very possible the garage alpha doesnt see the potential return on capital that it would take to make an lc200 due to the significantly smaller market. Not trying to defend the lack in communication, just giving some potential insight to the business point of view in not having one already.

That is a very good point, honestly. I did not realize that those molds were so expensive, I probably should have considered that. Of course, it would be nice to just be told that they won't do it rather than radio silence. It seems simple in concept, at least. Also If TEQ does not produce their own grills then is there any aftermarket company you know of that does? I have become hyper-fixated on finding a TRD grill for some reason and the closest I have found is a Chinese made one on Alibaba that lights up and has very thick borders, which I am obviously a bit hesitant to purchase.

This is the closest I have found, It just doesn't have that hex pattern of the TRD grill and has no mount for the front camera. I suppose I could try to jerry rig mine from the stock grill to it and buy a Toyota badge separately.

Also I am completely aware that this is just a cosmetic item and not really that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things!

I had built my own custom TRD style grille last year by cobbling together an aftermarket 200 grille and a Tacoma grille. Eventually, I went back to stock because I didn't like the end product.

The picture you posted is probably the closest to what I am looking for, but I believe that was the one I found on Alibaba (I could be wrong) and I'm just personally not a fan of how thick the bezels are and how it lights up. When I said hex pattern I meant like the one in the picture you linked, although the other grill you linked is certainly an option if I want to go a little more retro and get an older Toyota emblem. Though I have heard the metal interferes with the ACC.

You mentioned that you cobbled together a grill from the Tacoma TRD Pro grill, that would be more what I was thinking of. How hard was that to do and why did you eventually get rid of it? Do you have any pics?
