Help me settle this: LC200 wheel offset & stance tradeoffs

How about what Toyota actually recommend for use on the LC200?

I am running the TRD 17" alloy wheels which have a 50mm offset in combo with the Toyota recommended 285/70R17 BFG A/T tires.

That gives me a 50mm offset on an 8" wide wheel with a tire that is 32.8" in diameter

This would be almost exactly the same as a 50mm offset on an 18" wheel with your LT285/65R18 Toyo OP AT3 tires which are 32.6" in diameter.

That combo would keep all suspension geometries within factory spec including scrub radius.

winrace T comes in a 17x7.5 option as well. Would you go with a +45 offset if I were to go with 285 70 r17 tires to keep all OEM configurations?

No, I would go with +50mm offset to maintain a Zero Scrub Radius.

Here are the two wheels (TRD 17" 17x8 50mm and your Braid Winrace T 17x7.5) both at 50mm offset:

Note the Scrub Radius is Zero in both cases.

But here are those same two wheels, but with thw Winrace T wheel at 45mm offset:

Note the slightly positive Scrub Radius on the Winrace wheel.

So... I would go with the 50mm offset on the Winrace wheel to maintain OEM suspension geometries.
