Help look at a 40?

Hey guys, I'm down in Atlanta and looking at a truck in Arlington VA. Was wondering if anyone would be willing to take a quick look at it for me. It looks appealing in a lot of ways... but it also has diamond plate that I'm assured is not covering up swiss cheese. Hoping that's the case. Also has a V8 which doesn't bother me too much but just need a sanity check that its in good running condition.

I'd be willing to pay for your time just to get a 2nd opinion besides the owners.

Owner could very well be on this thread (don't know his handle but know he's on Mud)... if so, say hi but I'd still like another look if possible.

Let me know, or if there is a trusty shop you can point me to, I can go that route.

Steen, there are several of us who live or work in Arlington; I work in Arlington and could go look at it possibly mid-week next week (Tuesday at the earliest cause Monday is shot already).

Just wanted to say thanks to those of you that offered up help. That 40 fell through but I'll be at GSMTR mid day on Fri and will try to find you and stop by with a few beers. I'll be in a bone stock (for now) grey 200, hanging with the Upstate Cruiser guys most likely. Gonna see if someone will sell me a 40 while I'm there
