Fellow Cruiserheads,
I'm looking for someone that could lend me a hand. My wife bought me an FJ40 a couple months ago and she's been starting/driving it weekly - because I'm currently deployed - and there seems to be a problem in the ignition/starter sequence that I imagine could just be a fuse. It is currently wired through an on/off switch to a push button ignition. She said the on/off switch usually 'clicks' when she turns it on and now there's no 'click' and the motor doesn't turn over with the push button (tried jumping it as well). It is very hard to articulate the exact details of the problem with the limited communication we have and it would be a huge help to have someone just look at it before she has it towed somewhere to get fixed. We don't know a lot of people in the area and I thought I would reach out to the LC community for some help. I look forward to Cruisin' with you all soon! Thank you.
