Hi everyone, I need help identifying the piece in the red circle, it says it’s a 3-way connector with an orifice ?!
There are other 3-way connectors but none are labeled that way. Parts book has a different number for it as well (90413-04003)

I have the following two from another car that I have seen in pictures to be the correct connector, but not sure which is which, they have different numbers on them and the hole in one of them is smaller.

The smog system is for a 77 CA spec, I see the same label in federal as well (for 2 connectors instead of 1).

For people that may encounter this question in the future I found a better diagram in the emission manual (CA spec):

The diagram shows the valve has two orifices, or small holes of different diameters that send different amount of vacuum. In the diagram above the valve on the side of BVSV doesn’t have an orifice, so no label should be printed on the valve facing the BVSV. This matches what @iptman has, so his setup is correct according to above diagram. I believe my other valve is for a federal spec vehicles, which has another such valve elsewhere in the vacuum diagram. The orientation of the printed numbers or orifices are also different which means they are not for the diagrams above.

FWIW, I blocked off the vacuum retard side of the distributor based on a recommendation by @65swb45. I just stuck a BB in the vacuum line and reattached it. I don't need anything holding back my 2F. :steer:

Thanks for the suggestion. Did you have to smog the car? I believe it’ll impact some of the numbers. Unfortunately I have to smog the car in Cali when I finish it and I am not looking forward to it.
