Help! How do I determine Build Month? (1 Viewer)

Seriously considering purchasing an FJC, and looking at an 07! I am aware of the body ripples etc. and want to know which ones to avoid, and how to determine the build month of the rig!!

Some advise, and help would be appreciated!!

Note: I know I should search this, but the deal is possibly happening sooner then later, which is why I am asking the "stupid" question!

I know I can count on the many cruiserheads on this site to help me out!!

Should say it on the door sticker IIRC.

yup. driver side door frame in the upper corner of the sticker, but won't say "DATE" or anything, just two numbers like "05/06" for May 2006. You really want to avoid anything built before Feb 07 if you want to avoid the bad ring and pinion issue. I'm not sure what dates IF ANY will be better for the fender bulges, since that "problem" seemed to be "fixed" by spot welding another plate over the problem area.
