This was posted on Pirate4x4 and the BookofFaces by Matt McGuigan. I’m throwing this on here because Eugene and Bunny are local folk (Maryland). If you’ve been up to Rausch for any of the events - crawling comps, RCQ, rock races - you’ve probably run into them.

Saturday night Eugene, Bunny, and Bronco ( the dog ) were all out driving in their 70's era Bronco when a driver ran a stop sign and they broadsided him. The Bronco ended up on it's lid. Bronco ( the dog ) is fine, Bunny ended up getting some stitches in her arm, but Eugene took the brunt of things.
His neck was broken and they did surgery and fused several vertebrae together. He has all motor function that I know of which is good. Several ribs broken, hand broken, toes broken, I think arm broken or cut and he's missing a few teef now. ( Normal for the dirty south )
Bad part about all this is Bunny still isn't single.
If you don't know Bunny and Eugene, they have always had an open offer to ANYONE that if you are broke down, need parts, a place to stay, or whatever or wherever it may be they will help in any way possible. In 2013 Eugene dropped all his s*** in MD and left to go pick up fellow wheelers coming back from KOH who crashed in Tenn/Arky line, over 16 hours each way.

He's headed up more charity events in vehicles and on the mic ( who the hell gave him the mic ! ) than any man I know. He has constantly raised money where ever possible and given it to others in need. End of an event he'll pull a "put up or shut up" fund raiser out of his ass and donate all money raised to a needy child, person or family.
I say now is the time we give back to him for once. It will be months before/if they see any insurance money and I'm sure they have bills to pay well before then.
I'll put up my paypal for everyone to donate to ( Eugene doesn't do PP ) but I would honestly prefer if someone closer can handle it. If someone else cannot, I'll post up mine tomorrow. I'll post every donation made here for all to see and deliver it myself if needed, it's the least I can do.
Get better soon Eugene and bunny. The world needs your kind heart, good spirits and Pennsyltucky talk at an event in the not so distant future.
