Yesterday night while turning off the road onto a dirt path to stop at a convenience store I dropped the right tires through a very big pothole which I didn't see. Today I feel vibration through the brake and sometimes gas pedal. Any idea if anythings damaged or what to check.

Thanks

Edit: Might have tracked down the source got home popped the hood open and found the engine cover out of place.
Will see how it goes tomorrow fingers crossed it was all from this.

You must have taken a big hit to knock that thing loose. I'd give the underside of the tire that hit the pothole a thorough check. About 3 months ago my wife drove off the edge of the road in her VW. It was making some funny noises, vibrating and diving a little funny. I crawled underneath to check its out and the inside lip of the right rear rim was all bent to crap. Had to have the rim reshaped by one of those mobile rim vans that visits mechanic shops. Cost me bout $100 but it fixed the problem.

Put the 200 on a lift and checked it out. Shocks, springs control arms all seemed ok. Rim and tire was fine benefit of fitting steelies I guess is they'll survive more of a beating than the alloys. Only noticed the alignment might be off as even though it doesn't seem to be pulling and was straight as an arrow when I sped up and did heavy braking a few times. Will have to re-align and balance the tires and see how it goes.

Good luck my friend

Thanks, I had the balancing and alignment done and had the brakes checked as well when the rims came off. Alignment was fine and wasn't changed. The vibrations have reduced substantially and I feel a lot less vibrations through the pedals. Weirdly they told me my braks were worn out while 2k kms earlier I had just done the 50k km service and dealer measured them and said tgey still have till the next service. I'll give it a few more days if I feel anything off with the braking I'll pop down to the dealer and have the brake pads changed and check the vibration.

Now I seem to remember a post on uneven brake pad wear and they would be loose and rattle might be the same issue.

If the alignment is good, that tells you a great deal. I suggest that you swap in the spare if it is a known-good wheel. The wheel may no longer be true. Also, I have seen such an impact damage a tire belt and cause all manner of odd behavior despite the tire looking fine and balancing fine. If the spare is questionable, at least sway front to back.

Regards

I've had the same issues with my brakes I had a service done on them and they told me my brakes were fine. Took it in for a tire rotation a few months later and they said I had uneven wearing and that my brakes were very spongy.
