Anybody know where I can get some custom-color rattle cans made in So Cal? I want to have some made up for my dune beige '76. Someone had mentioned in another thread that Sherwin Williams did it, but none of the local shops do. Any help out there?

D'Animal - thanks for the link to the thread and the lead on the rattle cans....I'll get in touch with him.

SouthBostonFJ - were you happy with these cans? I know there are a couple different spray nozzles out there on these custom cans and some are better than others apparently....

These cans are great. The nozzles are very good and do not leak or splatter.

Here's the response I got back from Land Cruiser Junkie in case it can help someone else:

"....Burbank Paint in Burbank. Custom colors in rattle cans for a great price. If you order 18 cans or more, the price per can drops quite a bit, but even if you're using less they are still well priced. Just a suggestion about the rattle can paints... don't use the quick dry (15 minute) use the long dry (9 hour). Goes on way smoother without the overspray problem and is a more durable paint.

If you want to see what it looks like search the "Project Phoenix" thread and look towards the last couple pages. Hope it helps."
