I am thinking about buying a 1998 Land cruiser UZJ100 with a 2UZ-FE V8, but I don't know if the miles the vehicle has is too much. The Land Cruiser has 262,300 miles, is that too much miles?, should I go look into buying a different one. I read the help guide but it doesn't talk about miles though. I also found another Land Cruiser that is a 1994 FZJ80 L with a 1FZ-FE V6 but this one has 95,841, so I don't know. I will provide the car fax links.

My two cents...
Depends on what you're going to use it for and how the rust looks.
You're actually comparing two reasonably different Cruisers. (See Years comparison in FAQ)
I'd look for lower miles on a 100 series but it looks like it has a decent service history.
If you're looking for an 80 series I'd say you found a low mileage example.
Look on Toyota website and compare repair histories there too. Might have more details at least on the '98.

Oh, an 80 series with only 95K. If priced good I would have been all over that because I believe it is already a classic. I wasn't seeing any 80 series with low miles anywhere in my price range. I jumped on a 100 series with around 135K because it is my new daily driver. I was not wanting to go over the 170's, but for no good reason other than I wanted to put on the extra miles to get it over the 200K mark.

I would be at that dealership when they opened in the morning. If that 80 has minor rust is not a rust bucket I would give them full asking price and drive it home. You should not post nuggets of gold like that someone will call them based on your post have the salesman take a few pic's of the bottom ask some questions and buy it over the phone. If I was within 500 miles of that dealer I would be on the phone with them first thing.
