HELP ASAP trailer wiring question!!!

Hey out there... need to know what to wire for a 4 flat wiring kit for a light trailer... what colors are what for the brakes & turn signals in my 97 LX... need to tow on friday (tommorow morning)... Thanks so much for checking this out!!! -Ian

You can't wire a flat four directly in to a Lexus wiring harness. The turn signals and brake lights are seperate on a non-US made vehicle. You will need a converter. The easiest thing to do is to get the one that plugs right into the tail light harness made for the Lexus.

Tail light is green
g-b is left t/s
g-y is right t/s
g-w is brake

I tapped into my harness in the rear panel under the "subwoofer" on the right side.

You say you have a wiring kit? This is a T-one connector from e-trailer. Right-rear, next to the spare, rear bumper at the bottom of the pic. The splice is from discovering a broken wire going into the factory connector on my wife's truck. I just noticed the same wire is now broken on mine.
