the question is do you have KDSS? that can boost the price up. I have it on mine. it's not terrible to work around, but takes a little more R&D to develop.

weld on are MUCH cheaper for the 5th gen 4runner. I almost fell over at slider prices for these things. $500-800 for bolt on's is common. weld on's $160-300 with some variation outside those.

I believe the TRD Pro has a factory lift of about 2", so you are already good there.

Yeah, I don’t need to lift my baby, but she does need some armor to protect her. That’s interesting that weld on’s are that much cheaper. Of course, then there’s the labor cost because I don’t know how to weld nor do I have the tools, so it’ll probably come out to be the same for me.

The Mud board's 4Runner doesn't appeal to me a whole bunch so I usually gain/impart knowledge on the 4Runner.org forum board. I second the sliders as they'll save your bacon from costly rocker panel/door damage. It just takes one oopsie and money just flies out of your pocket it seems!!

Hang tight on purchasing anything large for your rides as the holidays are approaching and lots of stuff will go on sale. I'm making my list as we speak

Oh, now that you're out of CA, no more shiny tire dressing. They need to stay disty/dirty

Ohhhh, that’s good to know. I’ll try to keep a leash on my want to armor up as long as I can hahaha.

Hahahaha roger that. I’ve always liked the dusty/dirty look better anyways.

I’ll head over to that forum. Thanks for that btw.

Lol...back east we used it before hitting the trail just you didn’t have to scrub the tires for 30min to get the mud/clay off

That’s a great color by the way!

Oh another thing, keep an eye on the vendor forum on this site for holidays specials: Vendor Forums | IH8MUD Forum

Hahahahaha already starting to spend my money I see. Honestly, that BJ75 is pretty bada**. It’d be a fun overlanding rig. But, unless you and the rest of the guys are willing to pitch in, I’ll probably have to pass on that one. But the ‘94 on the other hand wouldn’t be out of the running lol.

oh damn you! I was gonna contact the dealer 'cause the little plate over the oil plug was missing... now I might as well get a better skid plate...[digs out wallet, hands it to Ali]

can you reach this guy? all I get is an error.

cool, thanks. I think I just figured it out. a problem I've had before, just forget to change some settings on my computer.
