I moved from Michigan down to New Albany, right across from Louisville a few weeks ago for a job. Since I don't know anyone around here I figured I'd try and hook up with some fellow TLCA guys, and maybe do some wheeling. Problem is that my trucks are back in Michigan, as I have no place to store them, currently. I met up with some of the Bluegrass Cruisers already, and want to meet some to the north of me as well. I'm 23, have a BS in manufacturing engineering, and work for Sonoco Products making the cans for Pillsbury Poppin' Fresh products. My FJ55 is in pieces all over the garage, and my FJ40 is a finished work in progress.

It'd be nice to meet, wrench, wheel, and chat with you all in the future. If you want a navigator or wheeling buddy, I'll bring beer & gas money!:steer:

Ditto on the nice rigs. Read the thread on the HoeDown. Come to the Badlands & wheel & party with us crazy bastids. Gonna be a great time. Be there, or hear about it!

Welcome Brian. Let be the first here to give the officcal mud welcome :flipoff2:!!!

Two fine LC's at such a young age....great start!!

:flipoff2:

Watch out around those Bluegrass boys, it's all fun and games until the banjo music starts!!!:hillbilly:

Welcome Brian, hope to see you at the hoedown at the end of Aug. Come on up for the fun if you can, I'm sure we can find an open seat for you.

Thanks guys! The FJ55 is a piece right now, but my FJ40 I did the frame-up on it myself. I'll need an open seat for the Hoedown, as I won't be able to bring my truck down :( I do actually need parts, front left wheel spindle and adjusting nuts for the 1974 FJ40. I'm hoping to get my wheel bearing issue finally taken care of over Labor Day weekend. As far as the Hoedown goes, I can provide beer, gas money, and cigars to whomever has an open seat!

Welcome, Vicky and I are in Illinois close to St Louis. We joined the Hoosier Cruisers because these guys make wheelin' fun and interesting.
Nice rigs by the way.

I've got a few of these (you're asking for a drum brake spindle and nuts right?). I'd be glad to give you a spindle and adjusting nuts for the cost of shipping (USPS Flat Rate box - so like $12 IIRC). I'm a couple hours from you in Cross Plains 47017 if you wanna just drive up for them. PM me your address if interested...

I'll look in the garage but I did have a complete set off of my 74. If I can find it I'll bring everything from the knucles out to the Hoedown. I'll post up to let you know what I can find. The price is FREE!! Its parts you can use and more room in the garage for me. Win WIN.

Mark

Nice, thanks for the parts help guys! I look forward to meeting you all, and watching you wheel your junk on the trails!

(needless to say, I'm jealous because I can't wheel mine...)
