Hello from a new 100-series owner

Greetings from a long-time 80-series MUDder (although I haven't been active for a few years). Today I made the move to a 100-series Cruiser, a.k.a. 2005 Lexus LX470.
I've been poking around the 100-series forum for the last several weeks, and have appreciated the old reliable IH8MUD wisdom and experience. Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself and my new blizzard pearl beauty that wife has dubbed "The Pensioner." Picked it up today, drove to the tire shop for new treads, then home to mod the running boards. AHC and OME will briefly cross paths this weekend.

Nice rig. I bought an 03 last year and noticed some cruisers have that rectangular cover in the center of the rear bumper and some dont. What's that about?

It covers up the hole for the integrated tow hitch receiver.

It depends on the year. My '99 didn't have it, my '03 did and my '07 does not. I think they used it for a few years and then went back.
