Hello!!!! ...... Hello..hello

Wow really quiet here latly

i want to try a trail called jack flats i have been up there its really rocky couple of creeks to cross about 3feet deep each up by blue ridge by balch park they say from there you can go all the way to three rivers from there me and rusty went but there was a downed tree im too high could make it he did tho it is a good family trail i didnt it in two wheel drive of course chewed up my tires a little really fun and fly fishing, camping spots alot of for all trucks and tents have to see it to love it you will for easy family fun

Was there last weekend almost had to you fourwheel drive around the pond... The fishing is very good right now I have got my limit four times this month in about an hour

Theres gates no locks because of the cattle no posted signs of no traspassing i need to go check out again for signs theres lost cabins up there they call them the lost cabins hunters still use them

I was looking at a hiking map I have of Mineral King which also shows part of the Golden Trout Wilderness and it shows this "unimproved dirt road" as Forest Road 19S08. The Jack Flats reference would be correct, as it show a Jack Flats Campground near the river. I then did some searching online and found this map.

It shows the road as 19S09 and says it ends somewhere before Jenny Creek. I don't know which map is newer, my topo is copyrighted 1986, but mine shows the road splitting at Dillonwood Grove, with one part going East back toward the N. fork of the Tule River and the other going West toward Dillon Canyon. This doesn't get you that close to Three Rivers, but it does seem like a good there and back kind of route.

D'Animal talked before about this being a closer trail that we could easily make some day runs on. Being a newb to wheeling, I'd be excited if this turned out to be a viable option. I know there's also stuff up Dry Creek road that some of the locals know about. Maybe I just need to hop in and go someday.

Me and rusty were going all they to where it comes out. But im to tall , could of air down but did'nt bring a compressor to air back up shame on me

Here is a picture of Blue Ridge from my driveway.

Look to the left of the two story house on the hilltop and to the right of the utility pole. The snow covered conifer trees are growing on the norht slope of BlueRidge.

There is a fire road that goes from Yokohl Valley to Horse Creek road, but it's a fire road with the accompanying restrictions. I found all kinds of dirt roads back there on Google Maps, the ones up by Blue Ridge also connect with that one in at least one place.

I was told you need to talk to the Brown brothers about access to the ranch land roads, Dan.
