So my 80 series heat hasn’t been working for a bit. I thought it my coolant so I flushed it. Still no heat. Then I took the cable off the valve and turned it wide open thinking my cable was jammed. Still nothing. Than I got inside changed it to fresh air. Clicked the button twice out of frustration and the hate came on. Both front and rear. And clue what it could be because I’m stumped

Here are two resouces you will need in your new ownership of an 80 series.

It's the blend door actuator motor; it isn't opening the door. You need to determine whether it's the motor or relay.

There is an HVAC section from the service manual in the 80 series section of the Resources forum that I put there for just these kinds of problems. It's the only resource you need. It is valid for all 80 series HVAC systems.

That’s what I was thinking it would be. Just didn’t know if it had a motor or used vacuum lines

It's electro-mechanical. Everything vacuum operated left the barn on the early FJ40s.

In typical mud fashion, I'll offer yet another suggestion; Inspect the solder joints on the climate controls. It's fairly common for these solder joints to crack and cause intermittent heat control issues. I reflowed the solder on mine & that completely solved my problem. The worst part is disassembling the dash to get it out. But that gets much easier after the 50th time.

So is this the solder joints on the motor or the control panel

What year and model?

The LX450 and CE versions have a climate control module to work with the auto climate control, not the manual version.

I got a 94 Landcruiser. Version with the push buttons
Ok, then you don't have the auto climate control that tends to go bad.

Check if the windshield leaks onto the control module under the dash.

I’ve noticed my carpet is wet. I was afraid is was coolant but it doesn’t smell like it. Is windshield leaking a common problem

If it's under the glovebox, it could be the A/C drain is plugged. The outlet is a small black hose under the DLC1 connector, on the passenger side, engine side, firewall. It also could be the sunroof drain. Or, worst case, it's the windshield.

Welcome to 80 series ownership.

It's unlikely you have a leak that both wets the carpet and the climate controls. Anything it theoretically possible, but I wouldn't bet on this being the problem.

Read the manual.

Do you really have an FJ80, or is it an FZJ80? The FJ had a carbureted engine, like the 60 series. The FZJ has a fuel injected engine. It makes difference, because there are other differences, too.

So I don’t think it’s the AC. Because I’m in the dead of winter of Idaho and the ac evaporator only collects condensation while running. That and I bought the LC three weeks ago and it was sitting for two years before untouched

It’s the FZJ. 94 is the first year of the 1FZ-FE motor. Previous years were the 4.0 and I have the 4.5

Actually 93 and 94 are the same, then 95 is a transition year and 96 and 97 are the same.

93-94 are OBD1, 95+ are OBD2

And yes, windshields are known to leak on these because they have a more involved way to install with a gasket and sealant on both sides of the gasket. Many shops don't do it right because they know better.......
