Heat coming from right side of center console- Normal?

Anyone else have heat coming fron the right side (passenger side)
of the center console? The Left side nice and cool-

Suggestions- Comments- Thoughts???

Mine used to get nice and hot. One of the first mods I did was to remove the interior, and insulate the whole thing.

FWIW: I don't think the LX-450 get as hot there. More insulation in the Lexus?

This was specifically meant to keep our coffee warm. I have the same exprience, but it has never been an issue. I just don't keep anything in there that would melt.

I did the same, though it wasn't my first mod. I didn't know about it until a passenger finally complained about it.

That's how I found out also. We drove the LC back from NY when we first got it. My wife kept complaining about how hot it was. I always thought it felt comfortable and something was wrong with her. Until we switched . . .

i removed my front sub woofer in my lx an used it as a spot for an aux fuse block, then drilled holes in the metal speaker mesh for switches ever since then long road trips the center consol emits heat from there. i dont mind it enough to do anthing about it though ?
