I'm finally going to replace the black headliner (not a good ideal at all unless you like the feeling of driving in a cave) in Chester with a SOR replacment but I'm missing the four plastic retainers (the parts fiche calls them "garnishments") on the "C" and "D" pillars and the two metal strips that hold the head liner to the dash.

Does anybody have some extras?

Thanks,

Harry

metal strips most likely. Plastic retainers not so much. Those would be a really good project for someone. Plastic+heat+time =:crybaby:

Are the metal strips the same across all years?

According to my fiche

Garnish, Roof Headlining Side, Front RH p/n 63347-90351 runs from 03/69 to 01/79 then goes to -90352
Garnish, Roof Headlining Side, Front LH p/n 63348-90351 runs from 03/69 to 01/79 then goes to -90352

Garnish, Roof Headlining Side, Rear RH p/n 63349-90351 runs from 03/69 to 07/80
Garnish, Roof Headlining Side, Rear LH p/n 63351-90351 runs from 03/69 to 71/80

Interesting that the "C" pillar unit isn't listed

Hmm...now i will have to go look. I recall two ~1/2 metal strips @ the dash area (A?) and 2/(4) 'garnish' at the rear and C. The front (B?) would just have the base molding joint.

I apologize for my terminology or lack thereof starting with the front windshield A then B then C then D?

I am obtuse and I just had another negra modelo dark.

Or in other words 63514/63515 in your pdf would go to D pillar and 63511/63512 would go to C pillar and then modling holds the B pillar section and the metal strips on the dash. The PDF is missleading in local.

Ok, i'll go put the beer down.

BTW- anyone out there reading this that would shoot for using my parts to generate a new version?

I'm pretty sure i have those rear corner plastic things somewhere around here...gimme a month to find 'em.
