Headlights

I have a '00 LC and it has three headlight bulbs in addition to the turn signals. The question is what are the two bulbs for that are in between the high/low beam bulbs and the turn signals? I believe the LX has similar bulbs, but all separated in to different lenses.

The bulb I am speaking of is baffled and definitely low intensity, on whenever the headlights are on, high or low. I can't believe it is of much useable value.

Nope, the daytime lights are the high beams at half power.

LX has 4 lamps: low beam projector, high beam reflector/DRL, corner parking light, bumper light (turning signal & projector fog). I have no idea what those bulbs you refer to do. What if you turn the lights on one by one? Do those mystery bulbs light up in any mode?

isnt there 4 bulbs in the main headlight area. theres the turn signal, then 2 bulbs in the big middle section, then a third section with another bulb?

That's right, the bulb I am talking about is between the turn signal and the main headlights. It is in a tall, narrow reflector.

They are on whenever the headlights are on, but not the daytime running lights.

That is the front indicator lamp, in Europe we call it the "parking light". When these are on, you also have your tail lights on, and side indicator lights when they exist.

i think this illustrates its fine. I have other pictures of that light lit up when the parking lights are on also. This person, or police officer, obviously put a blue-tint bulb in there. Yours should be that dim ugly yellowish white color.

Hello! i am the owner of the cruiser that you posted in the forum. so, you guys were talking about the PARKING LIGHT. what i understand you need to know about the bulb that is between the signal light and the main headlight. i uses the PIAA LED in my cruiser. it has 3 LED with the same plug-in type i didnt use any blue tint bulb. please feel free to ask me anything..thanks

oh hey sorry, i didnt realize you might be on this forum. I hope your okay with me posting a picture of your truck. Looks nice. I have Polarg LEDs in my truck where the little wedge based bulbs are used.

side note, HDJ100L...are you happen with your whelen products? Ive got some strobes and LEDs from them in my truck as well.
