Hey, guys. Any reason the button to level the headlights was removed on 2016+?

16+ has a sensor for rear ride height that allows them to maintain level even when the rear is loaded.

Because we couldn’t be trusted with that kind of power. Also it was no longer necessary as Bloc said

I do think the ultra-bright LED headlamps and sharp beam cutoff made an automatic system a bit more necessary. And maybe expectations for the $83k sticker price by that point.

Oh, wasn’t aware of this. Thank you for the info.
Btw this means if you adjust the front or rear ride height the sensor needs adjusting to avoid blinding everyone.

Thank you, Sir.

I guess that is only for LC as the LX13 already does leveling (lights move up and down) and AFS testing (lights move side to side) every time you start it. AHC also helps with leveling, but I don't think the systems are talking to each other.

On my 2017, I don’t think I’ve seen them move up and down on start up to adjust. I’ve owned vehicles that have done that. That’s why I was asking about it on 2016+, as the older 200’s, have a wheel to adjust height.
