I have been in contact with a off road lighting company in the states.
http://www.roundeyes.com/Products-Toyota_Headlamps.html From what I can find this is a very high quality headlight replacement for a grood price. I am hopin to bring in a few sets. They are going to send 24v bulbs instead of the advertised 12v and I am asking for 130/90watt bulbs. Anyone interested? Price is still going to be around $120 to $130 CDN if there are enough of pairs coming accross. I will send them on to anyone if they are not in the Edmonton area.

Two things to think about...1) make sure that even though it may come with "DOT Approved" documentation, that it also has the DOT or SAE stamp on the lens itself just to avoid hassles. And 2) the Hella kits widely available locally here in Canada are of great quality and are only $89. You also get to deal with local retailers if there are ever any issues.

I agree with Stone. Hella makes great lights and at a reasonable price, and are recognized around the world for the quality of light. The ones from round eyes look pretty, but seem to me like a bit of bling. I would rather purchase something from a well known company like Hella, Bosche, IPF or Cibie who spend tons on R & D, than spend more cash on an unknown product from someone across the continent who may or may not support it.

When you put in your 130 watt bulbs, you're gonna use relays, right? No sense in frying your switch or wiring or something else. Lots of info here on Mud about relays if your not very familiar with them.

I'm runnin the RoundEyes replacements in my FJ40 and am VERY impressed with the light dispersion and quality of the lamp....nice units...as much as I hate external spots/floods, these serve their purpose great!

Already have the relays sittin on the bench pre-wired. I am having alot of trouble gettin anything in edmonton for a replacement. The only place that had any idea what I was talking about with says it will be 4 to 6 weeks for delivery for the hellas. I guesse I will just have to be patient. Thanks for the advice.

i have had my 90/130 in for about 1.5 years no drama and the diffrence is huge but i only paid $40 bucks for them i dont know the rate diff but your price is a little high i think:crybaby:
