Jorge has been working on a head gasket here in KC for the last week and he is about ready to get the head work done.

I recommended the shop in Columbia that we used - can't recall the name.

I also have the head about off my spare motor that will be the local TAC "swap out" head.

Anyone able to transport these down in the next week?

maybe.. lemme see how my venison season pans out.. might be stopping in columbia to pick up a tailgate protector and see the snuffaluffagus truck.

Edit. That price includes checking the head decking cleaning installing all new parts etc. if you want more stuff you can call them. You will most likely talk to his wife.

Appreciate the info.. dunno if i can get a head pulled prior to opening morn but i might have time to get one ready to go.. I will prob b in columbia sometime in the next 2 weeks.. so i'll get my wish list and see what they think. it included stainless chevy valves and a couple other little things to bump some power in the old girl.. I really need to focus on other stuff but i need to prob do a head gasket for safety so why not.

Got mine pulled last night.

Just for your information : I called Noland's Cylinder Head shop in Kansas , they charge 500 $ for complete job (with adjusting valves).
