head gasket years and fitment

I've got a 79 engine and replacing it with an oem toyota gasket but the number I have comes up for an 84 and up engine. 11115-61010 is the number.

Is this the wrong gasket for my 79???

Should be the same.

The used the 2F from late production 1975 till 1986 or 1987 FJ60's

I read several articals here and found a comparison by JimC showing the oem gasket and I don't think mine have the "steam holes" aka small tiny holes near the h20 jackets. I'm a little worried I guess. I know they used these 2F ers for sometime on the FJ-60's but I didn't want to make an opps and have to go back into the belly of the whale again.

Now days application gaskets have been superseded to one gasket to fit 1/75-8/87 .........

I did verify that it does in fact have the "steam holes". It looks as thought this will be the proper gasket.
