Guys, after 3 80 series it finally happened last night i blew my head gasket. Considering doing it myself depending on the shop rate to get it done. From experience from the guys who have already done it, any input is greatly appreciated. What i would love to have is a list of everything that should be replaced since i am already tearing everything apart. I don't mind spending a bit of extra money on parts while i am already there. Truck has the 1FZ-FE with 237K on it.

Thanks!

I just finished mine and it wasn't that bad.
Bag and label everything.
Label all connectors and vacuum lines.
Get the FSM!
Take more pics than you thing you need.
Have the valves adjusted by the machine shop.
Have the injectors rebuilt.
The hardest part for me was handling that huge head and wrestling the EGR.

I can't agree with Uncle Meat more. FSM is a must and take pictures the whole way through. There where times the pics saved my bacon as far as some of the connections go. As long as you follow the FSM you can't mess it up.
