It is not the same unit. It is different because there is no fuel pump in the fuel tank in a Toyota diesel.
But I betcha you could modify an FZJ80 unit to work.

Bryce, you can use a gas pickup and modify it. Cut off the 8 mm intake pipe, redrill it to 1/2” and attach a 12mm/0.5” pipe bent to shape, weld a fitting and bolt it with a sealing washer. I used a stainless pipe. I had to do it because the part is not available new anymore.

Why don’t you pull the one from the current tank? All you need is the two gaskets.
