have you swapped from OME863's to Slee heavies?

I've had the heavys on mine for about a year now with no complaints; if you're like me and aren't too concerned with a cushier ride you'll be fine.

I've had Slee heavies for 3 years, they're great. Had 860s before and just couldn't handle the extra weight from the drawers and fridge.

Just to update... I rode in a near identical set-up with the exception of the springs (SanDiegoCruiser's). They had Slee heavies and I had the 863's. I thought the Slee's were just ever so slightly softer. SanDiegoCruiser thought the 863's were slightly softer.... So they ride pretty similar. Difference IMHO was ride height.... Hope this helps!

I just installed drawers and will be swapping out my 860s for 863s in the morning. I have a bumper with tire carrier only and sliders. I can give before and after photos, but I do not have experience with the Slee springs.

My truck does seen to sit lower now with the 860s.

Derek - You need to come up to Boise. I need to get my new 863s on my truck, along with the rest of the lift.

Mxndrnks - Thank you. That did help. I was wondering after my wife bought my lift kit for a Father's Day present whether or not she picked something a bit stiff. Knowing there is little difference in ride between these springs helps me feel more comfortable with her decision. Plus, who can look a "gift lift", in the mouth? Right?

Anyone have a picture of their truck with 863s, rear bumper, drawers, fridge and dual swing outs? i have 860s now and like the height. Christo told me I'll definitely loose some lift with the above mods and Slee Heavy Springs.

I have a 40 gal aux tank and Slee rear bumper and I went from 863 to Slee heavies and I didn't loose but maybe 1/2 and it was after a month for them to settle. The ride is much better. 863s rode great fully loaded down but harsh non loaded
