Kawowsa! We ran down there Saturday in the 100. We planned on flying to the creek and having Becky run the trail back to Reddington Road (which she did).

Since we were on a mission I passed on the center line down. I figured I'd take that cheasy right loop bypass and then down the middle. Hell no! When my DS wheel went into the hole I seen that huge rock denting my door. Today on YouTube I seen a rolled Blazer who tried to straddle it going up...didn't work.

I also noticed that center line we all take is notably even more washed out. DEEP HOLE!

On the return I figured I'd drive up the ledge to the left of the popular center line...Damn! Teeter one way...lift a wheel. Climb the ledge...lift the front PS wheel...hell...this area is trenched out all over. FUN! I always go up the middle. I like the ledge now! Maybe next time I'll take the left side as it's the easiest! :D

We gotta go back on a run soon and take the fun stuff!

I've gotta get out and see this madness... seems ridiculous that you could flop it going that way, but it definitely looks different in the video. Exciting times!!

I'm sort of concerned that if the obstacle as a whole gets too difficult it will result in a widening of it as people search for an easy way around... obviously it can't grow to the right since that's a huge wall, but what about left of the left line? That would suck...

Straddling it going down was no option for me. That's what that Blazer did going up. I also was not going to go down with that wall on the DS. I was getting tippy and I seen my DS door getting a crunch job.

I backed all the way up and then went down the drop and turned a hard left (the line that used to be the easy way). Wheel lift!

The center line I always do is the easiest way down now for sure. Staddle and go.

By center line, I take it you mean this one right? That's what I call the center line, too...

I've got just enough flex to go down the ledge thing to the left of that without any problem, and usually take that as the easiest way down...

Center = yes

And the lower pic.....what's the date on that? It doesn't look like that any more.
