Have a dog that points that's not a pointer?

What's the point?

Our new dog points scorpions in the house, I reward him everytime he finds one:cool:

It is tarantula season at our house. Three Beagles on full bay at 2:00am because a tarantula took a short cut through the yard. :meh:

Ever tempted to wear earplugs?:D

I had an Australian Shepherd/Springer Spaniel mix dog that would point fish. Whenever I pulled a stringer of fish I had caught out of the water she would lock into a classic point. I was hilarious. I miss that dog.

The funniest thing is that you have a Pug, the only dog who constantly sheds thier hair.

Yep. Biggest mess ever. The amount of dog I vacuum up every week is staggering. When I open the vacuum to remove the bag, it looks like there's a whole other dog in there.

I pictured you more of a Bull Mastiff kinda person. :meh:

He is a bull mastiff. He's just....really dehydrated.

Shahram like little dogs. He thinks big dogs stink.

I wanted a dog that I could dress up in stupid costumes and laugh at, and still expect that, once he'd finally had enough and turned on me, he couldn't kill me.

I dunno if big dogs stink more, but I'd put my lil' dude's silent-but-deadlies up against those big doggies' nose-tweakers anyday. That's high-octane ass juice right there. They could fuel funny cars on that stank.

My Jack can clear a room with his little silent ones............................His tail does all his pointing, its a great mood reader too......

my Jack Russell points and goes in to full hunt and stock mode when she see's a squirrel. she will clime a tree, she can get up some but shes not so graceful getting down. she will go under a bush threw a bush and on top of a bush. when she sees a ball forget it she locked in.

My Jack Russel will run right by a squirrel that is shooting off flares, wearing a reflective green vest and has a spotlight on it............then get scared when the flares land..........

My dobers point, even the lil foster I just picked up. Mice, squirrels -- one even hones in on flies.

I've known dobers who herd and do lure-coursing, even though the powers that be won't allow them to compete.

My Jack does eat flies caught at a window, and rolls on various bugs on the patio..............
